Removing acne scars has never been this easy

In this post I will share with you my experience using the most gentle and easy yet spectacularly effective product for removing acne scars and improving the skin's texture. The name of the product is Facial glow scrub & mask by Devotedthings.

Although the word "scrub" is in the title, this product is actually in powder form. And here is how I use it.  I mix a tiny amount of this super fine powder with a few drops of water. I get a runny paste which I then massage onto my clean, dry face. I massage different areas of my face for a few seconds and add drops of water if I want to prolong the massage. Then I leave the mixture on my face for about 5 minutes. After I wash it off, my skin is super soft and the texture feels refined. Because my skin is cleansed of dead cells, I think that every other product that follows is absorbed more effectively. If I am applying make up after my skin care routine I've noticed that the foundation goes on very smoothly.

The product comes in a small container, but because only a very small amount is used each time, a little goes a long way. I have been using this product almost every day for a month and I still have 1/3 of the container full. And I have used it on my neck and decollate area as well.

Immediately after use of this product my skin feels refined and the texture feels soft and polished. But many other scrubs can give me that polished skin feel. What is unique about this scrub is that overtime it refines the skin's texture significantly. In other words, there is a permanent improvement of my skin, visible to me and others.   How much improvement do I actually notice? Have you seen how a photograph gets photoshopped? With the cursor, you go over different areas in the photo and "smooth" wrinkles or "erase" discolorations. The skin on my face looks  as if someone has done a bit of air brushing here and there. In other words, I still have acne scars and large pores and discoloration, but all of these are much less pronounced and some are just no longer visible.

I will continue using this product and will update you on my progress. I expect that my skin's texture will continue to improve and my acne scars will get less and less visible. One other result I am eager to see and that is- diminished sagging of the skin. I read some testimonials about the product and some users report firming of the skin and less sagging. After a month's use I have not noticed improved firmness, but with continuous use I hope to experience that result as well.

I encourage you to visit Devotedthings website for the amazing Before & After of this product. And let me know if you get to try it or if you have questions. If you decide to try it, follow the instructions that it comes with closely. My skin is very oily, with large pores and perhaps not as sensitive, therefore I can use this product almost every day. For someone with combination or drier skin, perhaps this scrub can be used only 2-3 times per week.

The Facial glow scrub & mask is my second most favourite product for removing acne scars. I am so impressed with it! But my miracle product is the Indented scars peel again by Devotedthings. I wrote a blog post reviewing the peel about a month ago. But I am already on  my third bottle and it is time for an update. It is amazing how well the two products work together for removing my acne scars. In my update post I will also write about all the products that support the process of  acne scars removal and how good it feels to have renewed hope and expectations for a clear, smooth skin.

Galactomyces & Bifidalacto Complex products+ Several UPDATES

Did I like using Manyo Factory Galactomyces niacin?

No. I will not repurchase Manyo Factory Galactomycesniacin again.

UPDATE:31/08/17 It has been 7 months since I wrote this post and in that time I've learnt that Niacin is a very well researched skin loving ingredient. I will be purchasing products containing Niacin :-) and hoping it will "shrink" my pores.

UPDATE:28/11/2017 As mentioned in my previous update, I wanted to try a Niacin product and I chose Dr.Troub Skin Returning Niaten serum with 10% Niacinamide. I've been using it for 2 weeks now and so far so good. I think my pores look more refined, but it could be my wishful thinking that is tricking my eyes. Sadly, this product is only 30ml and at almost £20, I would not be repurchasing it. I hear that The Ordinary have a nice Niacinamide serum and cheaper.

Observations about applying the product and how it felt on the skin

Applying it (Manyo Factory Galactomycesniacin) felt like applying water. No scent, no colour,…

Best calming cream for acne prone skin- Sulwhasoo Herblinic EX Restorative Ampoules review

I first heard about the Sulwhasoo range from one of my favourite Youtubers- Lili. Her blog title is I am a beauty junky and that is also the name of her YouTube channel. I don't remember her reviewing the Herblinic EX Restorative Ampoules but when I researched several Sulwhasoo products she talked about, I found a couple of reviews on Herblinic and was intrigued enough to order samples from Ebay.  I bought 30 samples and they lasted me 15 days ( using them day and night).

From the very first application, my skin was nourished like never before. I could tell that this was one amazing product.

This honey like cream/serum is apparently packed with medicinal herbs which are said to  help nourish and  repair damaged skin. It smells herby and to me that scent is calming. It looks like honey but it spreads easily and little goes a long way. The application can be a bit sticky, but I don't mind that. One sample is enough for my face and neck.

After I used the first 30 samples, my skin…

Review: Cosrx BHA Blackhead power liquid and AHA whitehead power liquid

Update 6th July 2017: The post you will read below was written in January 2017. At the time my experience with Cosrx BHA and AHA was not positive. But months later, I went back to trying these products with great results. To read my updates click on this link and that will take you to my post "Using the previously disliked Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid again? " which I published in May 2017.

For years I've been using Skin Doctors Gamma hydroxy cream and I've been pretty happy with it. It is a skin resurfacing cream containing both AHAs (glycolic and lactic acid) and BHA (salicylic acid). It keeps my oily acne prone skin  free form congestion and pimples. There are only two things I don't like about this cream- the price and how "oily" it feels on the skin.

I read several positive reviews of Cosrx BHA Blackhead Power Liquid and AHA7 Whitehead Power Liquid and wanted to try them. I thought that if I could transition to using them instead of the Skin Do…
